FREE STUFF! No Strings Attached!

There, do I have your attention now?!

You may remember the last giveaway I did here on the blog.  It was wildly successful, and Miss Sarah took home an epic haul of $99 worth of CTMH product... of HER CHOOSING!  She was a happy girl.

Want a turn in her shoes??  Keep reading!

I've said here multiple times that my CTMH Cricut Art Philosophy cartridge is the only one my Cricut's seen since the day I got it, right?  Well, last time I was looking to bless someone else with that privilege.  The winner didn't have a Cricut, though, so instead she got to choose any products she wanted up to the $99.

The same rules will apply for this giveaway, with one big twist: there's a brand new CTMH Cricut cartridge to win!!

Artiste is all about giving your craft projects that little something extra.  With over 700 shapes (which, combined with Art Philosophy, makes over 1400 distinct shapes!!), you will find yourself using it on virtually every single project.  What's more, the cartridge comes with three sets of dimensional elements AND, three full size stamp sets.  All of these items coordinate.  Cut out the shape you need, then use the coordinating stamp to place a sentiment or image right where you want it.  No more guesswork, no more white-knuckled hand-cutting of shaped elements.

I know it seems like I'm far too excited about this, but I assure you it's absolutely genuine.  If you win this cartridge, I promise that you will love it!  And remember, if you don't have a Cricut, or just would prefer something else from the Autumn/Winter Idea Book, you can choose to go that route instead.

So, how to enter?!  The great Rafflecopter holds the key.  See below!  (Note, the first one is mandatory, so do it, and then you'll see ways to get more entries!)  I'll even make this REALLY easy by telling you that to answer the question for your first two entries, check out the Idea Book.  Don't want to view it online?  Let me know and I'll send you a paper one!

Oh Pemberley, How I Love Thee!

Back in this post, I showed you the very first scrapbook page I did for my son's scrapbook.  (He'll be two next month.  Ha!  The plumber's house always has leaks, ya know.)

Last week, I decided I just couldn't let the rest of my Pemberley kit sit there ignored!  On to the first two-page layout of his album.  For those who don't know, our son is adopted.  His birthmother - with whom we enjoy a wonderful open adoption - invited me to be in the delivery room for his birth.  It was the most incredible experience I have ever had and probably ever will have!  I will forever be grateful to her for allowing me to be a part of something that I am not able to do on my own.

Anyway, I only explain that here to indicate why there are no labor photos, and why I am fully dressed immediately after he's born.  It's a day I will never, ever forget.

Aidan's birthmom asked the hospital to give me a wristband so that I could go with our son into the nursery immediately after he was born to bond and get to know one another.  Did I mention that she is an amazing woman?!  In the layout below, you see me giving him his very first bottle... under the watchful eyes of a nurse standing by.  What a special moment.

I'm so happy that Pemberley is a kit that carried over to the new Idea Book.  It's beautiful and so versatile!

Every paper shape you see on this two-page layout, besides the plain rectangles, was cut with my CTMH Cricut Art Philosophy cartridge.  It makes such easy work of even complicated designs.  I didn't do much stamping on this layout; the ones on the lower left corner of the second page are from the (now retired) CTMH set called Adoption.  And the yellow horizontal stripe with the sentiment on it, that travels from the left page to the right one, is a zip strip from one of the Pemberley papers.  I love how CTMH makes use of every little bit of paper!

It's the Best Time of the Year!

I know what you're thinking.  "No, silly woman, (your favorite holiday) is the best time of the year."

Okay, okay, I can agree with that.  Christmas is pretty high up on the list, too.  But I absolutely love this time of year because the new Autumn/Winter Idea Book comes out!  It's released at the annual CTMH Convention, which I vow I will make it to someday (ahem, after I hit the lottery and can afford plane tickets out of Alaska), and is always chock full of really cool new stuff.  AND, it contains the holiday papers, stamps and kits each year!  See the tie-in there?  CHRISTMAS STUFF!!  Yay!

I'll be using this space to fill you in on a few of my favorite new additions in the coming days and weeks.

Let's kick it off with a huge announcement that set my heart aflutter when I heard it.  I'm sure you know by now that last year, the Cricut people released a CTMH-exclusive cartridge for their cutting machines called Art Philosophy?!

I am being completely truthful when I say that since I got my CTMH Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge, my machine has never seen any other one.  It's probably firmly set in the cartridge port now, maybe even melted in a little since we've had a few hot days this summer.

But, all of that is about to change, because guess what?!

Yep!  The wizards at CTMH and Cricut have developed ANOTHER exclusive cartridge!  The CTMH Artiste Collection has over 700 shapes just as the Art Philosophy cartridge did, however this one has some extra emphasis on three dimensional objects like gift boxes and other novelties that you will find tons of creative uses for!  And also like Art Philosophy, Artiste comes with dimensional elements to get you started as well as THREE D-size stamp sets!  Those alone are worth over half the cartridge price.

Whew!  So exciting!  (Yes, I'm a giant nerd, I'm aware of this.)

To celebrate the release of our second Cricut cartridge, I'm feeling an itch.  I think we need another $99 giveaway so that you can have your very own Artiste cartridge (or an equivalent amount of product of your choice).  Who's with me?!  Stay tuned for details in my next post...
